Independence Day is considered one of the most important
days for every people of his country. On 15th August 1947, India celebrates its
Independence Day. India got his freedom after so many struggles and movement
and our many leaders sacrifice their life to get the freedom. Independence Day
is one of the most significant days in the life of every Indian. After getting
Independence, our first Indian Prime Minister Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru who also
known as Chacha Nehru who raised the National Flag on 15th August 1947 at Red
Fort near Lahore Gate in Delhi.
Teachers, Parents, Students, and many other people come
together to celebrate this important day by hosting the National Flag and
Singing National Anthem. Our National Flag which has 3 colors Orange, White,
and Green indicates its own different significance. Saffron stands for courage
and sacrifice, White stands for peace and truth and Green Stands for faith. The
Prime Minister of India also hosted the National Flag in the National Capital,
Delhi at Red Fort. After hosting the National Flag our soldiers give the salute
by firing 21 guns and showering flower of tricolor on the National Flag with
Helicopter.
In our National Flag there is one symbol in the center which
is known as an Ashoka Chakra whose color is Navy Blue. The Ashoka Chakra
contains 24 splits distributed eventually. On this specious day we all remember
our great leaders who sacrifice their lives for our country and many other
people who play a very important role to get our country being independent.
Students and teachers give speeches on of our great freedom fighters like
Bhagat Singh, Shukh Dev, Raj guru, Mahatma Gandhi and many other people to
celebrate Independence Day. In schools people also do the parade, March past,
singing patriotic songs, and many more. Many people are celebrating this day
according to their way of style.
