Essay on "India".
India is one of the oldest and historic countries in the
world. It has a wide variety of culture, it is the country who know for its
Unity in Diversity. India has a large population as it is more than 1.2 billion
which is the second-largest population in the world. In India, people talk in
various languages vas compare to any other country in the world. India has
different types of religion, festival, gods and various types of languages, but
still, the people of India can belong themselves to each other, they believe in
each other which makes the country a proud nation.
India has the largest
democracy all over the world"Jana Gana Mana" and its Motto is
"Satyamev Jayate". The National Capital of India is "Delhi"
and the largest city of India is "Mumbai"."Tiger" is the
National animal and “peacock" is the National bird of India. In India the
official languages are "Hindi and English", but as everyone knows
that India has a wide variety of people there are also many different
recognized languages which are spoken in a different state like Assamese,
Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Kannad, Kashmiri, Kokhoror, Konkani, Marathi,
Malayalam, Mizo, Manipuri, Maithili, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali,
Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. India is a member of various organizations in the world
like the UN, WTO, BRICS, SAARC, SCO, G20, and many others. On 15th August 1947,
India got its Independence and celebrate this day as his Independence day every
year. India celebrates his Republic day on 26th January each year. as its population is more than 130 crores. The national anthem of India is "Jana Gana Mana".
India is the 4th
largest spoken number of languages per country in the world. The Indian economy
is the world fastest growing economy in the G20 developing Nation. India ranked
7th as the richest country in the world, with a total individual wealth of 15.6
million. India is also the founding member of WTO and also signed the Kyoto
protocol. The Two main classical languages of the world i.e Sanskrit and Tamil
language have originated in India, these languages have a history of more than
3000 years old.
India is the 7th
largest country in the world and it’s surrounded by 3 sides with water also
called the peninsula. India has the Taj Mahal which is one among the seven
wonders in the world. India has one of the largest military in the world which
contains 1.32 million active personnel. India is the country of Festival and
the people of India love to celebrate this festival, there are various
festivals like Holi, Diwali, Dassera, Ganpati, Makar Sankranti, Durga Pooja,
Baisakhi, Lohari, Eid, and many more like this which have lots of happiness and
joy, and these things bring them more together.
India has 28 States
and 9 Union territory each one has different cultures, religions, gods, and
festivals but still they feel the bonding of brotherhood ship in each other.
India is also ahead in the Technology sector as it's launched a spacecraft to
Mars for the first time in 2014. Which makes India the 3rd country in the world
and one and only one Asian country to send a spacecraft to Mars. India is the
first country that gets success in his first attempt to go in the orbit of
Mars. India is the First Nation in the world that has launched more than 100
satellites in one mission which is a significant record.
The National game of
India is "Hockey" and India makes various records in this game, but
there is one another game that the people of India love a lot is
"Cricket" as it is one of the most played games in India. India also
organized one of the world's best cricket tournaments which called
"IPL", people are crazy about it. India also wins various trophies in
cricket one among them is the ICC WORLD CUP 2011.
Indian tradition is
very popular all around the world people from different part of the world came
to India to enjoy its rich culture and tradition. India is also accepting the
western culture, but its ancient culture is very beautiful and precious.
Conclusion: India
have different castes, cultures, creed, and religion but still they live
together which makes India a great country. The heritage of India is world
known. India is also known for its spices and the most important thing is the
people of India which makes India a beautiful country to live in.
