COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus is the biggest problem for the modern era. As every country in the world is facing this critical situation. The virus is first traced in China (Wuhan) and many countries are saying this as a Wuhan Virus. The most affected country by this coronavirus is America with total cases of (1.42M) which is followed by Spain ( 229K), Italy (222K), Germany (174K), United Kingdom (230k), France (141K), China (83K). But every one eyes are on India as the Indian government is taking various preventive measures to prevent the people of its country. As the world’s known that  India is the 2nd Most populated country in the world with a population of 130 crores, but he cases in India is quite lower as compared to the different countries. India might not have the world's most advanced medical technology but still slow down the growth of coronavirus cases in his country.

As India's total coronavirus is (78,003), India is fighting hard to handle this pandemic and make sure that their people should be safe. The Indian government announced various plans and policies to tackle the COVID-19. India is emerged as a helping hand in this hard time and helping many countries by supplying medicines and food to the whole world. Hydroxychloroquine which is called to be the most effective medicine to tackle the coronavirus is supplied by India to many countries, like India the largest manufacturer of Hydroxychloroquine in the world. Almost 70% of the world Hydroxychloroquine is manufactured by India. In India, Maharashtra is the most affected state of coronavirus cases (25,922) which is followed by Gujarat (9,267), Delhi (7,998), Tamil Nadu (9,227), Rajasthan (4,328), Madhya Pradesh (4,173), Uttar Pradesh (3,729) and Telangana (1,367) are some of the most affected states in India. India is extended its lockdown to 3rd may fight against this pandemic and the world is watching the efforts taken by India.


Coronavirus cases can be prevented by the following measures:

To prevent the spread of COVID-19:
  • ·         Clean your hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub
  • ·         Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing
  • ·         Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth
  • ·         Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze
  • ·         Stay home if you feel unwell.
  • ·         If you have a fever, a cough, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention. Call in advance.
  • ·         Follow the direction of your local health authority.
